Skylark Aerial Imaging was started by Fergus Kennedy in 2013. Fergus originally has a scientific background, with a many years of experience as a marine and coastal biologist. He has over 20 years experience as a photographer and camera operator, with five years experience using drones.
Fergus’s photographic work has been widely published in books, magazines and newspapers and he has been Highly Commended in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year. He is on the judging panel of the Outdoor Photographer of the Year and is a regular contributor to Outdoor Photography Magazine. Fergus has written or edited two books on drone photography.
Commercially, Fergus works for a range of clients as both a photographer and drone pilot. These include Canon Europe, Natural England, Worldwide Fund for Nature, Nissan, Toyota and many others.
